Good news for electric car users

As electric cars are fuel efficient and environmentally friendly, the production and use of electric cars is increasing worldwide.  Despite its popularity, many users sometimes complain about the battery capacity of the car. 

Therefore, various companies have been working for quite some time to develop strong batteries for long-term use in electric vehicles.  Following this, Sang-Hoon Bae and his team, a scientist at the University of Washington in the United States, invented a method of making strong capacitors suitable for use with electric vehicle batteries.  Capacitors made with a new type of structure called heterostructures are about 19 times more powerful than current ones.  As a result, electric vehicle batteries can last longer. 

A study in this regard has been published in the journal Science.  Capacitors can charge and discharge quickly by storing electricity.  The heterostructures structure capacitor is as thin as 30 nanometers but is 90 percent more efficient.  Therefore, the new capacitor is expected to play a very effective role in reducing the energy consumption of electric vehicle batteries. post..
